We are part of the 1000 Islands and Rideau Canal Garden Trail, a network of private and public gardens, in the County of Leeds Grenville, that are open to the public.  We know you will enjoy your day of visiting these gardens; they have been chosen to be part of the trail because they are each unique and diverse.

The owners of Van Berlo Gardens hope that visiting our gardens will be a pleasant, relaxing experience that will inspire and educate guests.

Van Berlo Gardens can be viewed in 60-90 minutes depending on your level of plant enthusiasm.

Guided or self-guided tours are available.  Please let us know your preference when you book an appointment.

A picnic table is available at the waterfront.

There is a resident dog on site, so please leave your pets at home.

Take all the photos you want, but please leave the seedlings and seed-pods where they are.

The property is on a hillside and has wood-chip pathways which should be manageable for a walker but some pathways may be difficult for wheelchair access however, the majority of the gardens are accessible.

Donations are accepted for Brockville Palliative Care.
